Growing up, my brothers and I were relentless gamers. I recall spending excessively long hours grinding in multiple JRPGs, and several fighting video games. My brother is an advocate of Street Fighter, Tekken, and the like.
I noticed that when my brother plays, the controller tends to make clicking/tapping noises that never seem to happen when I play. And that always bothered me. Lol.

I’d like to think that I’m pretty good at handling my finances. But you know, there are times when real life stuff shoves itself in your face and suddenly you’re back to your patented broke lifestyle. Lol.

Back home when I was a wee little thing (Like 13 laidet, so jambu I tel u), my sister’s room kept getting broken into by uh… unwanted organisms. Mostly they were either snakes or biawak (lizards. Like the ones the size of your thigh, bruh).
So one day, a lizard decided to do an impromtu site visit, much to our… displeasure. And being a budding scientist with half the decent amount of functioning brain cells, I decided to let my pet cat, Simba deal with it.
Granted, the lizard was (if I recall correctly,) bigger than the (fully grown, adult) cat. But heck, cats are natural-born hunters right?
Welp, it didn’t go as planned. Simba bolted out of that room faster than a fat kid with explosive diarrhea looking for a toilet.

I needed some ideas for powerpoint presentations, so I decided to try Valkyria Chronicles, finally. Also, because I was bored with Assassin’s Creed 3’s slow-ass gameplay. Don’t ask me why I’m playing (relatively) old games.
If you’re not familiar, Valkyria Chronicles is essentially a love-child between Realtime Strategy- and Third-Person Shooter genres. So, basically you take turns to move your troops around and shoot all the things. It’s like Chess. With boom sticks. I guess.
However, throughout the years, I found that I have lost all patience for RTS games. Which is why I prefer action-type games such as Kingdom Hearts, Monster Hunter, Dragon’s Dogma, Lost Planet, etc.
Anyweh, after a few minutes into the game, I decided to screw with the strategies and just go batshit crazy.

Yes, I am an advocate of the run-straight-to-the-enemy-and-shoot-your-goddamn-gun-in-his-face strategy. Needless to say, many of my troops didn’t make it. But hotdamn it worked. Lol.

This is the last one. I swear.
It’s mostly me recording footage of the girls in their hanbok at the Goguan Hanbok Photo Studio. The staff there was nice. They even let me record the photography session.
We also paid Insadong a second visit so that I could indulge in my unhealthy love for art. We dropped by Miss Lee Cafe and the O’sulloc Tea House. The former had a quirky setting to it, which we had fun with, while the latter provided a more adult ambience with its serene, ambient lighting and niche menu. The cakes were superb btw. Much recommendations.
Oh, and we caught a sight of a relatively heavy snowfall while waiting for our flight back to Malaysia (Keep in mind of the limited sample size due to my obvious lack of travelling experience). But we were stuck in the terminal, so we couldn’t experience the frigid flakes on our jakun cheeks that day. But, at least we got to experience a two-hour delay thanks to it. Haihhhh…

The bunch of us paid the Ewha Women’s University a brief visit during the morning. It was quiet serene IMO, despite the copious amounts of people walking to and fro. We didn’t stick around long though, so I didn’t have that much footage of the place.
We then took a tour of The Secret Garden Palace, which was quite a treat. And despite my aversion to anything history-related, listening to the stories behind the structures was very interesting. Again, not the best season for the tour, but I take what I can get.
Rose and I followed up with a quick look at the Seoul City Wall while the others took a break. The brief hike wasn’t bad at all, especially since the weather wasn’t as merciless as in Malaysia (Honestly though, if you ask me to go hiking in Malaysia, I’d probably just kick you in the nuts and call it a day).
Oh, we tried out the Noryangjin Fish Market, and to put it bluntly; overpriced, not worth it. But maybe if you could speak the native language you could do a better job of haggling and not getting swindled. I guess. Also, smelling like fish the entire trip back was not fun. :|

Aite, so we went to the Hangdang River to take a look at the river cruise. But apparently it wasn’t available. So, we chased pidgeons instead. Hardcore, bruh. Especially since my foot was still aching.
Oh, and we tried the Lotte World theme park too. But all my footage there is shit, so let’s just leave it at that. But I will say that they boast some of the hottest dancers in one of their live performances *totally missing the point. Or am I?*. Now aren’t we all a bit pissed that the footage is shit? Har de har har.
Anyweh, we took a look at the Cheonggyecheon, and I was deeply disappointed over the severe lack of hot dancers. I froze what little ass I had while filming, but it was a nice view. The river, not the ass. Perverts.
Oh, Insa-dong was amazing. I’m a sucker for handmade artsy nonsense, and I pretty much wore my debit card out. Too bad they don’t allow cameras in the shops. Which is natural.
Rose and I also got to try out a Cat Cafe at Insa-dong. Hey, felines AND coffee, what more can a dude ask for?

Here’s part 3. We split up so that I can take my sweet ass time recording videos and taking photos. Because y’all can’t rush art. Rose and I tried out the Rail Bike ride in Gapyeong. It was a great view, despite the autumn setting. Although I imagine it would be even more breathtaking during peak seasons (but the idea of braving through a mountain of tourists is a dealbreaker for me).
To be quite honest, there wasn’t much to look at in Nami Island during the off season. Which is what you wouuld expect. But, we still had a pretty enjoyable time. The galleries were…ehh…different? And some of the scenery was still remarkable regardless of the season.

Here’s part 2 of the Korea trip. We went lolligagging around Myeongdong Street for a while. Not much to record there. Mostly because my right foot was aching the entire time. Nak menghapuskan dosa2 kecil mungkin lol sabo je la.
Luckily, we manage to stumble our way to Namsan Tower, despite my slowly deteriorating appendage. Ok fine, I did all the stumbling. The others were all showcasing their health and rubbing it in my face. #WhySoBitterLol
